Mekong Plaza in Arizona, USA

Mekong Plaza is a full-scale shopping center located in Mesa, Arizona, serving the local community with a diverse mix of dining options, retail stores, and personal services.

For this project, the design team chose our S-shaped green glazed tiles to cover the roof — an area of approximately 500 square meters. Instead of adopting the traditional Chinese glazed tile appearance commonly seen in cultural projects, they opted for the S-shaped profile, which gives the building a cleaner, more contemporary look while still benefiting from the durability and classic charm of clay roofing.

We worked closely with the project team to ensure the tiles met both aesthetic and performance requirements. The S-shaped interlocking design provides excellent water runoff and wind resistance — an important consideration for buildings in the Southwest U.S. climate.

Since completion, Mekong Plaza has become a recognizable landmark in the area, attracting both visitors and businesses. The roof has held up well under the Arizona sun, maintaining both its color and structural integrity — a testament to the quality of the material and the precision of the installation.
